Welcome to Living in Harmony, the online home of ANB Communications, Anne Nordhaus-Bike, President, and William S. Bike, Senior Vice President. ANB Communications was founded in 1993 to help you live in harmony in a variety of ways:
Spiritual Fusion Consultations. Anne provides uplifting information and guidance to help you harmonize and balance your life on the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual levels.
Art. Anne also is an artist working primarily in watercolor and oil. Her paintings are available for purchase.
Communication consulting. Bill is a professional writer and provides writing, editing, and public relations project management and fulfillment.
Political punditry. The author of the book Winning Political Campaigns,a how-to guide on political campaigning, Bill formerly was a top official in a political organization. He has appeared frequently on radio and television as a political expert and has been interviewed for numerous newspaper articles.
Books. Besides Winning Political Campaigns, Bill wrote Streets of the Near West Side,which features fascinating history and little known facts about the streets in one of Chicago’s most lively neighborhoods as well as explanations of how they got their names. He also is the editor of Essays on Earl Renfroe: A Man of Firsts, a biography of a 20th century Chicagoan prominent in several fields.
Anne and Bill met in 1982 while working for Irving-Cloud Publications and have continued to work together at the Gazette, a monthly newspaper in Chicago, since 1983 and at ANB Communications since 1993. They married in 1986. Although their areas of interest differ dramatically, both are passionate about their work and expert in their fields. This website allows them to share their expertise with you and to offer uplifting experiences to give you a break from life’s daily demands and hectic pace.
