Anne Nordhaus-Bike
Performance Arts
Anne has been active in performance for many years:
- Public speaking: lectures on art and spirituality
- Poetry: reciting poetry, including competitively; leading workshops on how to read and understand poetry
- Theatre: writing, directing, and producing plays; acting; technical support.
- Music: Piano performance, both duets and solo; singing with numerous choral groups, including the Waukegan Symphony Concert Chorus.
- Training: designing and delivering training programs, including train the trainer.
Many of Anne’s presentations take advantage of her multiple talents by combining art with music, poetry, or theatre.
Highlights
Wrote, produced, and directed Going Home, one-act play presented Oct. 3, 2008, as part of the Martinist day of activities during the Midwest Region AMORC’s Regional Conference at Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O’Hare Airport, Schiller Park, Illinois. Also appeared in the play as Narrator and as Sophie.
